Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ, seeks an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to steer new or revised application systems. You will lead analysis and programming activities, partnering with multiple management teams to deploy new products and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in financial services, strong Java + Oracle skills, and experience with CI/CD, cloud-native design, and post-trade processing systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of application development and leadership in financial services with hands-on Full Stack Java + Oracle.
• Experience solving performance issues in data flow, DB, ingestions, exposure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Scrum, and JIRA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of ETD clearing workflows and trade lifecycle.
• Experience integrating clearing systems with books and records platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to integrate functions and define system enhancements.
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design aligns with architecture.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Gain knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure align to business goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and craft innovative solutions.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk and drive compliance with laws, policy, and ethical standards.
