Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior application developer to design, build and support Unix-based SWIFT network interface applications on Linux. You will work in a fast-paced team delivering large development initiatives, with strong emphasis on Java development and Kubernetes expertise.

The role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and enterprise-grade software delivery, plus the ability to translate complex requirements into reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of experience managing global software development.
• Experience translating large complex business requirements into technical design and executing it to successful completion.
• Maintains and supports existing software applications.
• Knowledge of midrange system Tandem is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub and other source code systems.
• Extensive experience with UNIX and UNIX ksh scripts.
• Familiarity with SOA concepts and SDLC lifecycle.
• Advocate and implement best practices and improve team processes.
• Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.
• Must be a fast learner and multi-tasker.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Work Requirement

Salary Range

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
