Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science is required.

• Strong Java and JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL/SQL Managed Instance).
• Identity and Access Management deployment and management is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and support migrations of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud.
• Provide IAM expertise including MFA, SSO, and authorization concepts.
• Apply software updates and patches to Jira, Confluence, WebSphere.
• Mentor a small team of developers and lead development activities.
• Build and maintain Jira/J2EE/.NET web applications on Azure.
• Capture clear technical documentation and communicate with clients and team members.

KeyLogic is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join our growing team supporting the Department of Energy in Germantown, MD. This position supports a federal contract which requires U.S. Citizenship and candidates will need to undergo a federal background suitability check to secure building access. This position is on-site in Germantown, MD.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plans, designs and supports migrations of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud
• Provides Identity Management Expertise, including planning and maintenance of various identity systems and services (multi-factor, SSO) and authorization concepts.
• Applies software updates and patches to Jira, Confluence, WebSphere.
• Integrates Jira with other tools and systems
• Provides technical mentorship, guidance, and expertise to a small team of developers
• Builds, enhances and maintains custom solutions in Jira, Java-based and Azure .NET custom web-applications
• Modernizes applications written in older technologies for new platforms
• Performs requirements analysis and writes professional, detailed technical documentation
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and solves technical issues with existing applications
• Provides clear communication with clients, team members and customers on video, phone and in person
• Captures clear, concise and accurate technical documentation

Position Requirements:

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 dependent upon experience
