Job summary

KeyLogic, LLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a Department of Energy contract. The position is hybrid, based in Pittsburgh, PA or Morgantown, WV, with remote consideration.

You will join an agile team to design, develop, and update enterprise web applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and SQL Server, while modernizing legacy systems and contributing to architecture.

Qualifications

Job description

KeyLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our supporting the Department of Energy. The Engineer will be joining our team of developers to help with the maintenance of existing software applications and creation of new software applications. The position is Hybrid based out of Pittsburgh, PA or Morgantown, WV. Remote may be considered. Preference given to candidates located in PA and WV.

The successful candidate will join an agile software development team that follows the scrum framework to deliver software incrementally to our customers. The Engineer will be required to update legacy applications as well as implement new applications.

This position supports a U.S. Government contract and requires U.S. Citizenship

Position Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a directly related technical field. (Degrees in unrelated disciplines, coding bootcamps, certifications, or self-study alone do not satisfy this requirement.)
• 8+ years of work experience in IT or 6+ years with a MS in computer science or related field
• 4+ years of experience developing web applications
• 4+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
