BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a senior merchandising professional in Marlborough, MA for apparel category leadership. You will drive growth, optimize product assortments and lead vendor negotiations to meet financial targets.

The role requires 7+ years in merchandising, strong negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. This hybrid position reports to the merchandising team and supports store and club operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or operations related field; MBA optional.
• 7+ years merchandising/category management experience, specifically within Apparel.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; strong analytical thinking.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing annual product assortments and vendor negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Drive growth, profitability and customer experience across assigned categories.
• Develop competitive merchandise annual plans aligned with financial objectives.
• Continuously monitor category trends via trend research and competitive shopping.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with new and existing vendors.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and performance expectations.
• Lead sales and margin planning with cross-functional teams; communicate strategies.
• Ensure execution of merchandising strategies and timely operational goals.
• Provide leadership, training and feedback to the merchandise team.
