Job summary

Community LIFE Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor. This NEW leadership role combines clinical practice with team development, supporting APPs across our service areas while helping older adults stay independent and healthy.

The position is based at Forest Hills, PA (15221) with local travel; licensure: PA NP/PA license, DEA, prescriptive authority.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising clinical teams.
• Interest or experience in geriatrics or aging services.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the APP team.
• Promote clinical excellence and positive team culture.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to ensure high-quality care.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and development of APP staff.
• Provide direct participant care when needed.
• Engage in care planning, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
