Job summary

The Sr. Manager, Technology - API Platform at Boeing Employees Credit Union leads the delivery of enterprise APIs and platform capabilities, securing APIs across mobile, web, internal apps, and partners.

You will shape roadmaps, manage engineering teams, and implement agile practices to drive value and risk-informed decisions. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in CS or related field, 5+ years in IT with API-focused architectures, and 3+ years in people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of people leader experience managing technology teams.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with API-driven or integration-focused architectures.
• Experience building technology platforms with APIs, microservices, cloud-native services, or integration frameworks.
• ERP and/or Infrastructure/Operations or financial products experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution for API platform outcomes and architectural guardrails.
• Align technology with business goals through roadmaps and business cases.
• Identify innovative tools and lead RFPs and project charters.
• Develop and coach engineering teams to build high-performing cultures.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure APIs (GraphQL for reads, REST for writes).
• Champion agile practices and governance across product and tech teams.
