Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking an experienced API/Java/Python Developer in the Intel sector to design, develop, and maintain software applications and APIs.

The role combines backend development, API integration, and potential cloud-based solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience, hold an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI with CI Poly eligibility, and be proficient in Java and Python with frameworks like Spring Boot, Flask, or Django.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI CI Poly eligibility.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python and frameworks (Spring Boot, Flask, Django).
• Strong understanding of API styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and API tools (Postman, Swagger UI).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases; Git version control.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with secure communication.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA teams to define requirements.
• Optimize performance and ensure security best practices in data handling and API auth.
• Optionally integrate cloud services and deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Provide maintenance and support for existing applications and APIs.
