Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years (mid) or 8+ years (senior) API/Java/Python development.
• U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI with CI Poly and security clearance required.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python with Spring Boot, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL/SOAP APIs and API tools like Postman or Swagger UI.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, Git version control, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable applications and APIs using Java and Python.
• API Design and Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems.
• Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
• Collaboration: Work with frontend, product managers, and QA to define requirements and integrate components.
• Performance Optimization and Security: Optimize code, troubleshoot, and follow security best practices in data handling and API authentication.
• Cloud Integration (Optional): Implement and integrate AWS/Azure for cloud-native solutions.
