Job summary

RPM Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee operations at one apartment community in Dallas. You will lead staff, manage leasing, and ensure steady resident satisfaction, while maintaining strong relationships with owners and residents.

You'll guide budgeting, reporting, and performance improvements, collaborate with maintenance and marketing, and uphold company standards. This on-site role requires a proactive, team-oriented leader with excellent communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, conduct interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and assessments per company policies.
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators, provide feedback to underperforming associates, and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and provide monthly budget variance reporting within +/- 10%.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly responding to complaints and requests to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt responses to service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining high standards for resident service.
• Analyze market trends and partner with marketing to implement leasing strategies to reach occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow eviction procedures, including notice requirements, court representation, and proceedings as needed.
• Manage client/owner relationships by meeting with owners, giving updates, and responding to requests.
