Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at an apartment community in Houston. You will lead staff, manage leasing processes, drive performance, and ensure resident satisfaction while coordinating with maintenance and marketing to meet occupancy and revenue goals.

The role requires 3+ years in multi-family property management, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, conduct interviews, oversee onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and evaluations
• Drive team to meet performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork and safety
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and variance analysis
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and requests
• Collaborate with maintenance on timely responses to service requests
• Analyze market trends and partner with marketing on leasing strategies to reach occupancy/revenue goals
• Follow eviction procedures as needed
• Manage client/owner relationships and provide updates and tours
