Job summary

Acushnet Company seeks a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable & Travel to lead North American AP and travel-expense functions. You will manage a distributed team, drive process improvements, and own SAP S/4HANA integrations while partnering with Finance, Procurement, Treasury and Tax to optimize cash flow and controls.

You will mentor teams, enhance reporting, and advance internal controls in a fast-paced environment across North America and globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience within an ERP-driven environment, including at least 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of AP operations, general accounting principles, account reconciliations, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
• Experience working within a multinational organization and collaborating across finance, procurement, treasury, and business operations teams.
• Proven expertise with ERP systems and AP automation tools; SAP experience strongly preferred (NetSuite or similar platforms also considered).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze data, develop reporting, and drive process improvements.
• Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and process optimization capabilities, with a track record of improving efficiency and controls.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic leadership for North American Accounts Payable and travel expenses.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and working capital optimization.
• Serve as AP SME for SAP S/4HANA integrations and enterprise initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and business leaders.
• Develop cash flow metrics, strengthen internal controls, and audit compliance.
• Lead corporate travel programs and vendor relationships, ensuring strong service delivery.
