Job summary

DuraServ Corp seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Sacramento/West Sacramento, CA. This senior AP role oversees complex tax processes, vendor relationships, and process improvements that affect cash flow and compliance. You will lead SOP development, audits, and multi-region collaboration.

You will manage reconciliations, set up new vendors, verify banking details, and mentor junior staff while ensuring SOX controls are enforced and payments are accurate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience with strong SOX knowledge
• Experience with 1099 reporting, sales tax and internal controls
• Proficiency in complex reconciliations and AP workflow analysis
• Advanced Excel and Office 365 for financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax-related processes and ensure regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain SOPs for the AP team
• Analyze AP data for cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization
• Perform complex reconciliations and vendor account management
• Lead process improvements and automation within AP
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate cross-functionally
