Job summary

Briggs Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist in Dallas, Texas. This role is key in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoice processing and vendor relationship management.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and a strong educational background in Accounting or Finance. You will be responsible for mentoring team members and supporting AP automation initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of PO/non-PO workflows, 3-way match and vendor management.
• Experience handling complex vendor accounts or high-volume exception queues.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex vendor accounts and recurring exception workflows.
• Collaborate on AP automation testing and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor AP Coordinators or newer team members.
• Investigate and resolve purchase order mismatches and payment issues.
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency in automations.
