• Distribute and mail paper checks with required documentation.
• Research stale-dated checks and prepare escheatment records.
• Verify supplier banking information to support fraud prevention.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Perform ad hoc payment and research tasks as needed.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives within the Accounting department.
• Collaborate with AP, Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to improve processes.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation are current and accurate.
• Help standardize workflows for efficiency in a growing environment.

This role is critical in ensuring that sensitive financial information is transmitted securely and high-volume payments are processed accurately. Payment processing formats will include check, ACH, wire, and payment portals as well as internal account transfers. This position is located at the Irving, TX headquarters of Caris Life Sciences, directly reporting to the Senior Manager-Accounts Payable, and will work closely with the Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to produce accurate and timely transactional processing related to purchasing and financial operations.
