Job summary

Crafty is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to support Accounts Payable, partner billing, and month-end close activities. You will review outsourced output, manage vendor setups, initiate payments, and reconcile accounts while ensuring strong internal controls and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate brings multi‑channel accounting experience within a fast-paced environment, with hands-on IFRS/GAAP‑style processes, ERP proficiency (NetSuite), and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Manages transaction readiness, payment support, vendor setup, coding corrections, reconciliations, and accounting workflows with accuracy, urgency, and strong follow-through.
• Understands AP impact on the GL, including prepaid expenses, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement accuracy.
• Maintains clean audit trails, follows segregation-of-duties requirements, reviews outsourced output, and escalates exceptions before payment or close deadlines.
• Uses Ramp, NetSuite, and related tools to monitor queues, troubleshoot sync issues, maintain coding rules, and improve transaction quality at the draft stage.
• Investigates variances across cash, disbursement, credit card, accrued expense, and vendor clearing accounts with strong attention to detail.
• Builds checklists, maintains SOPs, documents recurring issues, manages deadlines, and keeps work moving across cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Flatworld (outsourced) output for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Initiate ACH and wire payments for Accounting Manager approval.
• Manage vendor setup workflows and onboarding processes.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and provide close-support documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager, Flatworld resources, vendors, and internal teams across Finance, Client Success, Operations, and Business Development.
