Job summary

AVIXA, a global association, seeks a Manager, Accounts Payable to lead the AP function from vendor onboarding to payment processing. You will drive process improvements, ensure timely payments, manage the AP team, and support internal controls.

This exempt role offers remote work in the USA and a competitive 80k-90k salary with benefits and bonus eligibility. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AP, strong Excel skills, and experience with AP automation platforms like Ramp or Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounts payable or financial operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, payments, and 1099 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts payable process for timely invoice processing and payments.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, W-9 collection, and compliance.
• Administer payment runs via ACH, wire, and checks.
• Develop KPI framework for AP metrics and reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Supervise Accounts Payable Specialist and mentor staff.
