Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior Manager of Accounts Payable to lead our procure-to-pay process and scale our AP operations. You will build automation, implement best-in-class systems, and ensure accuracy to support rapid growth. This is a full-time role based in San Francisco.

You will recruit and mentor an AP team, partner with Treasury/FP&A for cash forecasting, and uphold GAAP/SOX controls while driving KPI improvements like DPO and on-time payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable.
• At least 4 years in a leadership role managing a team.
• Experience in fast-paced tech, SaaS, or startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term vision for the AP function, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
• Oversee full-cycle AP processes: onboarding, invoicing, payments (ACH, wire, virtual card), T&E reporting.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing AP team.
• Drive automation and integration of financial technology for peak efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, and other departments.
• Design and maintain internal controls to ensure GAAP/SOX compliance and audits.
