Job summary

Authority Brands is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounts Payable & Expense to lead AP and employee expense functions across the portfolio. You will own expense automation via Coupa and Concur, enforce the T&E policy, and maintain strong internal controls over spend and fraud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience.
• NetSuite and Concur experience preferred.
• Retail or franchise experience is a plus but not required.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Must be proactive and highly organized with excellent communication.
• Must be flexible, able to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to think creatively while maintaining high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP and employee expense functions across brands and shared services.
• Oversee corporate credit card program and card payments.
• Oversee AP and expense reconciliations and GL analysis.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the AP and expense team.
• Maintain coding accuracy to GL accounts, departments, locations, and brands.
• Partner with Accounting Managers and FP&A to support accurate P&L reporting.
• Own expense automation initiatives across Coupa and Concur, including integrations with NetSuite.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual processing and shorten cycle times.
• Collaborate with IT on implementation and optimization of spend platforms.
• Enforce T&E policy, maintain internal controls over spend, and prevent fraud.
• Monitor spend activity for duplicates and policy violations and investigate issues.
