Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field plus 3 years AP experience.
• High school diploma with 5 years AP experience in a similar-sized org.
• Knowledge of AP processes, purchasing and payment procedures, reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word; experience with electronic accounting systems; Acumatica preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to review and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor statements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable operations by reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices.
• Coordinate invoice approval workflows and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Perform invoice matching, coding verification, and data entry in ERP with high accuracy.
• Prepare and support weekly payment processing activities, including checks and electronic payments.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records with invoices, payments, and vendor files.
• Review open purchase orders, receivers, and vendor statements to resolve issues.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and maintenance, collect required documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing via reconciliations and accruals.
• Identify process improvements and assist with implementation.
• Collaborate with accounting/finance team for cross-training and continuity.
• Ensure assignments comply with internal controls and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
