DSI Tech in Ashburn, Virginia seeks a Senior Accounting Specialist to manage the full AP/AR cycle, perform GL reconciliations, and support month-end close. The role emphasizes GAAP adherence, accuracy, and timely financial reporting within a fast-growing tech services company.

You will interact with department heads and vendors, ensuring controls and processes meet internal standards, while safeguarding confidential financial data in a full-time in-office setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience including AR/AP and GL activities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles to day-to-day transactions.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite accounting experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing, billing, collections, vendor payments, aging review, and issue resolution.
• Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure discrepancies are resolved.
• Lead monthly reconciliations of bank, merchant, and credit card statements and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
