The Sobrato Organization in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to manage a high-volume AP function across four divisions, handling invoice approval, data entry, reconciliation, payments, and reporting while ensuring controls and compliance.

The role also supports general ledger activities, job cost accounting, and month-end close; a seasoned professional with ERP/AP automation experience, especially with Yardi, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounts payable experience; 1–2 years of general ledger accounting preferred.
• Experience in commercial real estate, construction accounting, job cost accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and large ERP systems; experience with AP automation tools and Yardi strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable across four divisions: Sobrato Real Estate, Sobrato Family Foundation, Sobrato Capital, and Sobrato Enterprise Operations.
• Support general ledger activities, including job cost accounting and month-end close processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and system implementations affecting AP and reporting.
• Assist with audits and maintain organized financial records.
