Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Subject Matter Expert Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti-Tamper program within the Special Programs Division at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

This role focuses on systems security engineering for advanced microelectronics and weapon system protection. The candidate must hold a TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, a master’s degree in engineering, and extensive DoD experience.

Qualifications

• An active TOP-SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP, with a current background investigation within 5 years or under Continuous Vetting.
• Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline with at least 20 years of relevant DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, program protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for weapon systems and capabilities.
• Assess circuitry and memory components and determine reverse engineering methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for acquisitions, RFP development, and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess capabilities to meet design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with labs and industry to evaluate susceptibilities and vulnerabilities.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI for program protection.
• Work with DoD AT evaluation teams to understand current designs and vulnerabilities.
• Support improvements to anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, and sustainment.
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides.
