Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Anti-Tamper Engineer to support DoD programs in the Special Programs Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role combines systems engineering with instruction in a classified setting, requiring TS/SCI eligibility.

Must have an active TOP-SECRET clearance, DoD engineering experience with SAP/SCI exposure, and be able to travel up to 10%. Focus areas include anti-tamper capabilities, program protection planning, and developing training materials for government partners.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 12 years experience in a DoD engineering position
• Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years experience in a DoD engineering position
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 8 years
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems engineering process, policy, and procedures in the acquisition, manufacturing, fielding, and sustainment of new, existing and future weapons systems and capabilities, with specific experience in weapon system Program Protection planning and anti-tamper methods
• Assess integrated circuitry, industry standard processors, and memory chips and determine methodologies for reverse engineering electronic systems and integrated circuitry
• Support ATEA FPO Education and Outreach Lead by developing engineering curriculum modules
• Work with Government and industry partners to develop and update training materials
• Instruct ATEA FPO sponsored educational courses in a classified environment by educating the Anti-Tamper community using various instructional aids, videos, customized courses, and briefings
• Provide engineering support for technology and product acquisitions to include long-term planning, request for proposal (RFP) development, and technical oversight of ongoing projects
• Review and analyze proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility
• Assess acquired capabilities in achieving system design requirements and specifications
• For program protection, identify technologies and evaluate system/subsystem design functions and improvements to protect CPI
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in conduct of system, subsystem, & component testing
• Conduct engineering performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments and scheduling trade off studies
• Provide specialized support for the Export Integrated Capability Team (ICT) initiatives and enterprise policy modernization; author ad-hoc technical documentation to ensure continuous compliance and mission support
