Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a SME Anti‑Tamper Engineer to support DoD programs at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will apply security engineering processes and assess hardware for tamper vulnerabilities while coordinating with DoD and industry partners to advance protective technologies.

The role requires active TS/SCI/SAP eligibility, a master's degree in engineering, and at least 3 years of SAP/SCI experience. Travel up to 10% is expected to CONUS.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access.
• Master's Degree in an engineering discipline with substantial DoD experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods.
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory chips for reverse engineering vulnerabilities.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFP development and project oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry partners to assess vulnerabilities and exploitation risks.
• Identify technologies and design improvements to protect CPI for program protection.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand current designs and exposure.
• Assist efforts to improve anti-tamper/exploitation capabilities across weapon systems.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing of subsystems and components.
• Conduct risk assessments and scheduling trade-off studies.
• Create and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
