Job summary

Serco is seeking a SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support DoD programs in the Special Programs Division. The role focuses on systems security engineering, anti-tamper methods, and analysis of integrated circuits and memory devices.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility, possess a Master’s in Engineering, and have 20+ years of relevant DoD experience; travel up to 10% to CONUS locations should be expected.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and current background investigation
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 20+ years of DoD-related experience
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system Program Protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for new, existing and future weapons systems and capabilities
• Assess integrated circuitry, industry standard processors, and memory chips and determine methodologies for reverse engineering electronic systems and integrated circuitry
• Provide engineering support for technology and product acquisitions including long-term planning, RFP development, and technical oversight of ongoing projects
• Review and analyze contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility
• Assess acquired capabilities in achieving system design requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with service labs and industry partners in assessing susceptibilities and vulnerabilities to adversary exploitation; evaluate lab exploitation capabilities
• For program protection, identify technologies and evaluate system/subsystem design functions to protect CPI
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to identify vulnerabilities to foreign and adversary exploitation
• Assist efforts to improve US weapons system anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing
• Conduct engineering performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments and scheduling trade-off studies
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community
