Job summary

Raytheon’s Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Principal Engineer to lead the design of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges or chambers. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, define requirements with government partners, and oversee implementation while mentoring staff.

This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a strong background in antenna/radome measurements, with leadership experience and a track record of technical execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related experience.
• MS/PhD in electrical engineering preferred.
• Experience with antenna/radome/test range measurements and theory.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges or chambers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Oversee range/chamber deployment and supplier coordination.
• Mentor and guide other engineers across the business.
