Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Sr. Antenna Production Engineer to transition proprietary antenna technology into manufacturable MESA radar hardware.

You will work with RF, EM, PCB, and Manufacturing teams to industrialize antenna concepts from prototype to production, ensuring testability and scalability. The role emphasizes antenna-to-PCB integration, tolerance analysis, supplier interaction, and production-readiness, with experience in RF packaging or antenna-in-package being advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in antenna, RF, radar, wireless hardware, phased-array, or microwave system development.
• Experience with phased-array radar, RF/microwave systems, or RF sensor networks.

Responsibilities

• Support antenna production for MESA radar antenna hardware.
• Translate antenna concepts and prototype designs into production-ready implementation.
• Work with RF engineers on array antenna/RF chain integration, impedance matching, calibration impact, and radar-level performance.
• Collaborate with PCB Engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing on antenna-aware stack-up, layout, materials, fabrication, assembly, packaging, and test readiness.
• Support antenna DFM/DFT, tolerance analysis, manufacturability reviews, and validation using VNA, chamber/range, and OTA test methods.
• Correlate simulation and measured data to assess design risks, improvement areas, implementation options, and cost/performance tradeoffs.
