Ideal candidates have ammonia handling experience, strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule with a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with Anhydrous Ammonia.
• Must be able to operate work related equipment and tools (hand and power) including powered equipment, forklifts, man-lifts, pallet jacks and testing/diagnostic equipment.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to interact with warehouse staff professionally.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions and handle equipment safely.
• Must read and comprehend hazardous materials labeling.

Responsibilities

• Repair all material handling equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Maintain and repair facilities across the Melrose Park Complex, including conveyors, cranes, balers, lighting, plumbing, doors, and grounds.
• Identify recyclable items and separate scrap metal, batteries, and other materials as needed.
• Have basic knowledge of fire protection/suppression systems for all facilities.
