Job summary

Fetch is hiring an Android Engineer to expand the rewards and shoppability experience across its mobile app. You’ll own features, integrate partner APIs, and optimize flows from discovery to purchase planning.

You'll work in a modern, 150+ module architecture using Kotlin 2.X, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM with Hilt, in a fast-growing, remote-friendly US team. You’ll join a cross-functional setup focused on delivering reliable, scalable Android experiences that drive engagement and Fetch points

Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on Android app development and release experience.
• Strong command of Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines and Compose.
• Experience with unit/UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing).
• Experience with DI frameworks (Hilt, Dagger).
• Hands-on with Room or similar persistence solutions.
• Ability to contribute to architecture, modularization and large codebases.
• Successful cross-functional teamwork and delivering user-focused features.
• Strong debugging, profiling and performance tuning skills.
• Clear communication aligning technical work with product goals.
• Collaborative mindset for team-based development and ambiguity navigation.
• AI-forward mindset to apply new tools for engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Android features powering rewards discovery and shoppable content.
• Integrate with partner APIs and marketing tech ensuring accurate attribution.
• Improve shoppability flows for performance and ease of use.
• Collaborate with product and design to surface relevant offers.
• Monitor engagement and track feature impact on adoption and rewards.
• Work with backend, data and marketing tech teams to bring new integrations.
