Job summary

Sporty is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to own and evolve our Android applications. You’ll implement new features, build new UI pages, test rigorously, and release updates to multiple regions as part of our global expansion.

You will work with a globally distributed team using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Jenkins, Glide, Git, ExoPlayer and MVVM. The role is 100% remote with flexible core hours and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience writing clean Kotlin or Java for Android apps.
• Experience building mobile application architectures, including data modelling, networking and data sync.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and responsibility of our existing Android applications.
• Facilitate and release new versions of apps in several new regions.
• Build new end-to-end features on our platforms.
• Create new UIs to stay on top of various sporting events globally (World Cup, Football Euros, Olympics etc)
