Job summary

Fetch is hiring an Android Engineer to advance our rewards and shoppability experiences in a fast-moving mobile team. You’ll build Android features with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM inside a 150+ module app.

Join a modern stack with Hilt, Gradle, KSP, and CI pipelines (Bitrise), collaborating with product, design, data, and marketing to deliver reliable, performant experiences for millions of users across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Android development and release experience.
• Strong command of Android fundamentals and modern tools/libraries (Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, Compose).
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Compose Testing).
• Experience with DI frameworks (Hilt, Dagger).
• Hands-on with Room or equivalent local persistence.
• Experience contributing to architecture, modularization, and large codebases.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams to ship impactful features.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to align work with product goals.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving toward outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Android features that power rewards discovery and shoppable content, from browsing and saving offers to linking purchases back to Fetch.
• Integrate with partner APIs and marketing tech systems, ensuring rewards attribution is accurate and reliable.
• Optimize shoppability flows for performance and ease of use, reducing friction from product discovery through to purchase planning.
• Collaborate with product and design to ensure users can quickly find and activate offers most relevant to them.
• Monitor and improve engagement metrics, helping the team track how features drive user adoption and rewards redemption.
• Work across backend, data, and marketing tech teams to bring new partner integrations and e-commerce capabilities into the app.
