Job summary

U.S. Bank is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Mobile Development to join the Payments Technology team in Chicago.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern frameworks while ensuring secure, scalable mobile experiences for customers and businesses. Collaborate with Product, UX, Security, Architecture, and Backend teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Experience with enterprise Android applications and secure mobile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build secure, scalable Android solutions integrating with backend services and APIs.
• Implement authentication, MFA, biometrics, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, and device trust.
