Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Mobile Development for the Payments Technology team. The role focuses on Android development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and secure coding practices to deliver scalable enterprise applications.

You will collaborate across Product, UX, Security, and Backend teams and contribute to CI/CD-driven releases. The candidate should have a strong background in Android architecture components, OAuth/OpenID Connect, MFA, and secure storage, with 5–6

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Five to six years of relevant Android development experience.
Strong experience with Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile-backend integrations.
Knowledge of Android security best practices and IAM integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Android apps using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
Collaborate with Product, UX, Security, and Backend teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Develop and maintain reusable Android SDKs and shared libraries.
Ensure compliance with security standards including MFA, encryption, and secure storage.
Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD release processes.
