CVS Health Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Android to lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless omni-channel experiences and ensure high-quality mobile software throughout the full SDLC.

The role requires hands-on Android development expertise, strong collaboration with design and product teams, and adherence to best practices in architecture and testing within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience on enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of Android front-end development.
• 3+ years of experience developing for multiple device sizes (phones and tablets).
• 3+ years of experience with the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose and Java in Android Studio.
• Work with MVVM, MVC, Strategy, and other design patterns.
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Handle concurrency with Thread, Handler, Java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and UX teams to influence Android development.
