CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Android to develop, maintain and deliver Android applications for CVS Health and Health100 in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with design, product and backend teams, applying MVVM and modern Android patterns to create robust, scalable apps for a seamless omni-channel experience. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and opportunities to impact CVS Health’s digital health journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of Android front-end development
• Experience delivering for multiple device sizes (mobile phones and tablets)
• Understanding of the entire Mobile SDLC using Android SDK

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android applications
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose / Java in Android using Android Studio
• Work in OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy)
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture
• Work with concurrency (Threads, Handler, Java, Coroutines)
• Collaborate with product/UX to influence Android app development
