Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Android to drive development, maintenance and delivery of Android apps within a fast‑moving team. You will partner with design, product and backend teams to deliver seamless experiences across devices and screen sizes, using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and modern architectures.

In this role you will own code quality, testing, and efficient delivery, while applying CI/CD practices and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ship features

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development on enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of Android front-end development.
• 3+ years of experience for multiple device sizes (phones/tablets).
• 3+ years of experience and understanding of the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android using Android Studio.
• Work in OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency including Thread, Handler, java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members to influence the android application development.
