Yum! Brands is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer II to design and build consumer-facing and enterprise applications for the restaurant industry, supporting Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut. The platform runs globally with a Kotlin-based Android stack and an emphasis on reliability even when networks fail.

The role stresses end-to-end feature delivery, adherence to MVVM, and CI/CD practices, plus collaboration with product, QA and brand teams across restaurants worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on mobile software experience.
• Strong Android fundamentals with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid architecture and testing strategy knowledge.
• Daily use of AI dev tooling with good judgment.
• Willingness to own parts of the development process (CI/CD, testing, deployment).

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment in a high-volume Android app.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and brand teams across brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell).
• Improve productivity with AI tooling while maintaining quality and security.
• Support hardware peripherals and integrations with distributed systems.
