Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a hands-on Senior Android Engineer to join the Rx Digital Engineering team. You will work with Design, Product and cross-functional colleagues to deliver reliable Android experiences for our pharmacy and health apps.

You will develop, test and ship features in an Agile environment, using Kotlin, Java, MVVM, and Jetpack Compose, and collaborate with backend and front-end engineers to create a seamless omni-channel experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development for enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of Android front-end development.
• 3+ years of experience on multiple device sizes (phones and tablets) including portrait & landscape.
• 3+ years of experience with the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications.
• Writing efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio.
• Working in OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy).
• Creating core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Working with concurrency (Thread, Handler, Java, Coroutines).
• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and UX teams to influence Android development.
