Job summary

Uber is seeking an experienced software engineer for the Autonomous Mobility & Delivery team to build features using AV data and drive platform growth. You will lead projects from inception to deployment, balancing speed, performance, and quality while collaborating with product, data science, and operations teams.

Applicants should have 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong Android (Java/Kotlin) skills, and proven leadership. In‑office presence is expected for most locations.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Software Engineering work experience.
• Android development with Java and/or Kotlin; code reviews.
• Experience leading technical projects end-to-end through all lifecycle stages.
• Experience defining standards for testing, monitoring, and incident management.
