Job summary

Uber’s Autonomous Mobility & Delivery division seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead critical projects across the AV rideshare platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable designs and drive initiatives that move key metrics.

Ideal candidates will have strong software engineering fundamentals in distributed systems, and experience shipping large-scale backend services, with a preference for those who have worked in fast-changing,

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field AND 2-years full-time Software Engineering work experience OR 5-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 3-years total technical software engineering experience.
Programming language options include C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic roadmap to meet business goals and strengthen Uber’s AV rideshare platform.
Lead end-to-end execution of multiple projects across lines of business.
Ship new products and paradigms that improve KPIs while maintaining platform stability.
Develop tech that future-proofs Uber’s Autonomous Vehicle stack and enables broader impact.
