Google’s Android Bluetooth team seeks a software engineer to lead connectivity features for XR platforms and the Android Connectivity stack. You will design, implement, and maintain APIs and contribute to cross-functional projects across Android and partner integrations.

You will join a high-visibility role shaping device connectivity at scale, collaborating with hardware, software, and platform teams to deliver reliable, secure experiences for billions of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of programming in Java or C++.
• 3 years of testing, maintaining, or launching software products; 1 year with design/architecture.
• 3 years of Android platform, systems, AOSP, or app development.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices and quality.
• Contribute to documentation and adapt content to updates.
• Triage issues and debug/track/resolve impacts on hardware, network, or service.
• Participate in or lead design reviews to decide on technologies.
