Job summary

Press Ganey Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Research & Analytics Scientist to provide scientific leadership across a portfolio of healthcare measurement products and initiatives. The role focuses on survey science, benchmarking methodology, psychometrics, and applied analytics to improve patient experiences.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Executive Leadership to translate complex methods into actionable insights while upholding governance and data

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Survey Methodology, Statistics, Psychometrics, Sociology, Psychology, or another quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in survey methodology, questionnaire design, psychometric testing, sampling, weighting, and bias mitigation.
• Experience translating analytical findings into actionable insights used for decision-making or improvement.
• Strong interpersonal effectiveness, including collaboration across stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SPSS, R, Python, SQL, or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership across products, benchmarking programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Guide measurement, benchmarking, analytics, reporting, and methodology decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Client Support, and Leadership to solve measurement challenges.
• Lead the design, evaluation, and improvement of survey instruments and measurement frameworks.
• Develop analytical frameworks and reporting approaches to support decision-making and improvement.
• Establish governance standards for benchmarking and related methodologies.
