Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager, Development to Launch Analytics to lead advanced data science and analytics across the Product Development and Supply functions. You will build and own machine learning and statistical models, operationalize analytics, and drive data-driven decisions across drug development and product launches.

You will partner with PDS leaders to identify high-impact questions, develop core analytics tools, and ensure scalable, reusable data processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, engineering, finance, or another quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience with applied machine learning, statistical models, time-series modeling, or quantitative forecasting.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, Python, and/or R in production/operational environments.
• Experience in data architecture and database concepts.
• Experience with probabilistic methods, including Monte Carlo simulations, probability theory, and Bayesian methods.
• Experience developing production-grade code using version control is a plus.
• Life sciences/pharma industry experience preferred.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support business decisions by collaborating with PDS senior leaders to identify key questions and present findings.
• Develop analytics capabilities including AI models, ETL processes, and statistical methods.
• Promote coding standards and maintainability; document data processing and modeling work.
• Lead multiple projects from charter to completion and communicate insights to senior leadership.
