Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director of Data Science to lead strategy and execution across drug development data. You will guide analyses spanning clinical trials, omics, imaging, and other biomarker data while collaborating with Biostatistics, Translational and Clinical Scientists, and cross-functional teams.

You will define analytical frameworks, drive methodological innovation, and champion reproducible pipelines using Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a quantitative field with 6+ years of academic/industry experience (or Master's +8+ years).
• Experience leading development and application of statistical and ML models on high-dimensional data.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and methodological guidance on data science across drug development programs.
• Lead exploratory and confirmatory analyses across diverse data types.
• Develop and implement AI/ML methods and novel analytical frameworks.
• Shape analytical strategy for trial design, endpoints, and biomarkers.
