Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst in Analytics & Metrics for Open Finance to transform large datasets into actionable business insights. You will build executive dashboards, partner with customer success, product, and engineering teams, and influence strategic analytics initiatives across regions.

You will translate complex concepts into business recommendations, collaborate with a globally distributed team, and travel 15-20% for reviews and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related experience.
• Experience in analytics, business intelligence, consulting, strategy, or a related analytical role.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience working with large-scale datasets.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience translating technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer and platform performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business recommendations.
• Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers and Account Management teams to provide data-driven insights supporting client growth and retention.
• Investigate performance changes, conversion trends, and operational issues through root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Eng, Product, and Engineering teams to improve reporting capabilities and methodologies.
• Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions using enterprise analytics platforms and data visualization tools.
• Leverage automation, AI-enabled analytics, and modern reporting techniques to improve efficiency and insights.
• Identify opportunities to standardize reporting processes and analytics best practices.
• Support strategic initiatives with analytical forecasting and business case development.
• Leverage Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, and enterprise reporting tools.
• Partner with distributed teams across regions to deliver consistent analytics outcomes.
• Support client-facing engagements, travel 15-20% in NA and occasionally internationally.
