Flex is transforming the moving, storage, and last‑mile delivery industry with data‑driven decisions. As Staff Analytics Engineer, you will own data models, metric definitions, and the reporting used by Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to guide daily decisions.

This is a full‑stack, senior IC role. You will work with stakeholders to build models and dashboards, defend numbers, and own the analytics platform. USA remote with travel to offices as needed, ET hours.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data analytics engineering, analytics, or data science with ownership of definitions.
• Expert SQL with window functions, semi-structured data, and debugging complex queries.
• Production dbt experience with project layering and governance.
• End-to-end BI ownership on a modern platform (Sigma, Looker, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder fluency; able to drive decisions with CFOs and leaders.
• Experience in logistics, moving, delivery, or marketplace data domains.
• Proficient Python for ingestion and analysis; Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own data modeling and the design of dbt projects on BigQuery from staging to marts.
• Define metrics and governance for revenue, margins, CAC, and utilization.
• Build analytics experiences in Sigma and maintain data dictionary and platform.
• Manage Fivetran connectors and Python pipelines; ensure data quality and reliability.
• Translate vague stakeholder requests into specific deliverables and drive decisions.
