Block in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own telemetry and production pipelines, turning raw signals into governed data and executive dashboards. You will instrument telemetry, collaborate with data engineers, and define metrics for AI ROI and developer experience.

You'll build end-to-end data products with AI coding agents, present methodology to senior stakeholders, and ship polished visuals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI with end-to-end pipelines.
• Background in developer experience, AI effectiveness, or platform analytics.
• Strong SQL and Python; experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Instrument and extend telemetry data from AI usage, code changes, CI/CD, and spend.
• Build production ETL pipelines and land telemetry into governed tables with quality checks.
• Create executive dashboards and perform analyses to support AI ROI decisions.
