Job summary

Rivian is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Product Development Data & Analytics team. You will help scale the Product Data Catalog, democratize data for self-service analysis, and support AI-ready data architecture in a rapidly evolving EV production environment.

You will architect ELT pipelines, manage the Product Data Catalog in Unity Catalog, build dashboards in Hex and Databricks AI/BI, and collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, Math, or related field.
5+ years in senior staff data engineering / analytics roles.
Expertise in SQL, Python, and dbt.
Strong data modeling and analytics schema design.
Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks) and Unity Catalog.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Hex).
Experience with Git and CI/CD for data projects.
Excellent communication to present complex data insights.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and data models.
Develop core dashboards and data products (Hex, Databricks) for leadership and teams.
Drive data democratization enabling self-service analytics across business units.
Refine data catalog architecture to support AI/ML and automation.
Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives across vehicle development lifecycle.
