Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Durability Analytics Engineer to predict loads, fatigue, and vibrations using fleet data, CAN signals, and acceleration data. You will build ML models and regression libraries to support durable, adventurous EVs across vehicle variants, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Based in California, you will help standardize durability targets, automate CAE workflows, and contribute to Rivian’s mission to keep the world adventurous forever.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or similar.
• Understanding of vehicle physics and automotive engineering is preferred.
• 1–3 years of data analytics experience in automotive/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Fleet data analytics: map travel, driving, road usage across markets.
• Data‑driven modeling: build models to estimate loads, fatigue, and vibration spectra from CAN/accelerometer data.
• Automate processes to reduce CAE test cases and runs.
